Here's a selection of questions we get asked the most - please drop us a line if you'd like us to add your questions to this page - we'll do our best to answer them !! What kind of shopping can you do for us in advance? We normally provide you with a welcome pack and a couple of extra goodies!! We offer a service of a first supermarket shop to get you going for the first couple of days! All you need to do is send us a list and it will all be put away for you arrival so that you can kick off those shoes and get straight into holiday mode!! There is a fee for this service - please see the rates page for details. Can you provide meals? Our apartments are self catering so we don't normally provide meals for our guests. However, in low and mid season we can provide home made meals, and will always be happy to make birthday cakes! Do you charge for utilities? Normal use of electricity and water is included in the apartment charges Do the apartments have telephones and
internet points? Hey - this is a holiday!! Telephones are not available in the apartments, but the main house phone can be used in emergencies. Mobile phone coverage is good. Similarly, internet points are not available in the apartments but wireless coverage is available by the main convent. Is it safe for young children? All the apartments were designed with young children in mind and all the terraces are fenced off, so that children can run around the terraces safely but needless to say we do still ask parents to keep an eye on their own children (see our House Rules below for more information) How far are you from the beach? We are ten minutes drive or 7 km from the beach and beach front restaurants. The restaurants are all dotted along the promenade which makes it ideal for children as they can run around on the beach or on the promenade which carries on for about 15km along the coast. Ice cream parlours are also very popular with children and parents alike!! |
